Random Thoughts on Scott Pilgrim
i will also somewhat separately add: it's okay to not like scott pilgrim anymore. i was 16 when i watched it and i actually think it was a big part of sort of shielding me from the extremely big gamergate push that was happening around the same time (the other big part was being black and having more than two braincells but i digress). i think it was helpful to see someone basically have main character syndrome and why that's bad, particularly when you're a teen and running at 110% "this is my story" capacity.
will i like it as much in 2023? maybe. probably not.
