Thoughts

This movie is so damn good on a rewatch. The perfect blend of scary while providing some commentary on what it's like being a woman around men. The fact that the movie's creation centered around what it would look like if a girl ignored every red flag in front of her is just chef's kiss. This is what I watch horror for, lmao.

Justin Long is the best choice you could pick for a disarmingly charming scumbag that always seems about to turn a new leaf before proving us all wrong. I find it interesting that people argue over what the title of movie is supposed to be referring to: it's the men of the film, who do terrible things and never stop to think about the consequences those actions have on other people - only thinking of themselves to the very last.

It's not a particularly scary movie - to me at least. Especially on a rewatch, where I only feel pity for the monster of the film. But it's hilarious and well-paced and I'll probably rewatch it again soon. 9/10 for sure.
