I can't believe this movie is 12 years old. My back...

Anyways I still love this movie but I don't really have much to say about it? The music is stellar, and the aesthetic is pure Hotline Miami. It's extremely funny to me that one of the first deaths is Ti West, the guy who created X and Pearl. Also the main actress is very cute. Sorry, I know that's not exactly super engaging literary critique, but I can't deny my eyes.

Okay here's one: One thing I really love about You're Next is that it flips the genre on its head as the movie progresses. To prevent spoilers, I'll just say that the hunted ends up becoming the hunter, and it's very engaging to watch. Also, this is a fantastic movie to rewatch once you experience the twist. The entire thing gets recontextualized and it owns.
