Fleeting Notes

Fleeting notes are quick and unfiltered, raw, and something to jot down right away. But only useful if they get transformed into heirloom notes.

Heirloom (aka Permanent) Notes

Also known as "Atomic" notes. These are the notes that connect to each other in Obsidian, to some extent.

What Should Be in My Heirloom Notes?

• Big Idea
• Understandable even contextless
• Written with my own spin
• Linked to at least one other note

Potential Process

1. Capture a fleeting note in the Fleeting Folder
2. Review fleeting note and extrapolate on it.
   1. Add thoughts, feelings, ideas, etc in a new Heirloom note
   2. Links back to the previous note
3. Move these new Heirloom notes into their respective MOCs.
4. Continue to connect notes together to maintain context
