2023-10-15 Updates

Recently did an update already that you can read here, so not much to update now, just establishing the weekly cadence.

Progress on Poena Mortis progresses steadily, with the Dev Logs to match. According to Focus To-Do, I've put in about 10 hours on the project across 5 days, which isn't too bad given the progress I've made, I feel.

On the backend I'm trying out the PARA method of organization.

It's...interesting. I'm letting my thoughts on it percolate, especially given that I can't immediately tell what the difference between an "Area" and a "Resource" is. But if I don't like it I can just delete the pages and act like they never happened. Obsidian is nice like that.

Other thing of note: I've added a newsletter sign-up on the main page of 01 The Velvet Room, and below as well. I'm planning on sending either weekly or monthly letters of my updates to people through it. Kind of a soft launch - I'm still in internet recluse mode, so I'll launch it more officially once I pull out of that.
